A trust rooted in service to rural India.
Sri Nityanand Educational Trust was founded to bring the transformative power of education, skills and dignity to the tribal communities of Palghar district.
Our Story
SNET was registered in August 2008 as a public charitable trust (Reg. No. E-25321) with a simple conviction — that lasting change in rural India begins with education and honest skill. Set in the tribal belt of Palghar, our work has grown from village anganwadis to a 4-acre residential skill campus and, soon, a full CBSE school.
Our Vision
A rural India where every child learns, every young person has a livelihood, and every woman lives with economic dignity — regardless of caste, community or geography.
Our Mission
To advance education, promote skill development, and provide relief to underprivileged communities — with a specific focus on the Warli, Katkari and Malhar Koli tribal communities of Palghar district, Maharashtra.

Palghar district in coastal Maharashtra is home to significant tribal populations who have historically faced barriers to schooling, formal employment and economic mobility. SNET's integrated presence — from anganwadi to skill centre — is designed for exactly this context.
Our Trust Objectives
Advance Education
Support and strengthen learning in anganwadis, government schools, and our own institutions.
Promote Skill Development
Deliver market-relevant vocational training that leads directly to employment or self-employment.
Empower Women
Enable economic independence, later age of marriage, and dignified livelihoods for tribal women.
Provide Relief
Meet urgent needs — food, essential supplies — for the most vulnerable rural families.
Community Institutions
Build long-term institutions like the upcoming CBSE-affiliated K-12 school.
Integrated Approach
Work across the full arc of a life — early childhood, schooling, skills and livelihood.
Our Trustees
SNET is guided by a board of trustees who bring together decades of experience across education, industry, medicine and community service.
